25 Days of Christmas Quotes: Day 1

It’s December! Can you believe it? How does each year pass by so quickly? And it’s almost time to revisit those New Years resolutions we set last year…have I even accomplished any of mine? Probably not, seeing I haven’t been diligent in keeping track of my progress. Next year!

Now that I’ve taken this blog public, I will probably post about one to three times a week. However, I am going to make an exception to this expected blogging frequency right away! During the month of December, I am posting one Christmas-related quote EVERY day. That’s the plan, at least.

I am even designing artwork for some of the quotes. You have to take every chance you get to develop another talent, right? I don’t know why I keep adding elements that I can feel self-conscious about. Oh well, we’re all works-in-progress, right?

Today’s quote is one of my absolute favorites! For those of you not very familiar with the Christmas story, this quote is inspired by Luke 2:7.

And in case your personal electronic device doesn’t see the image, here is the quote in plain text:

“Each of us is an innkeeper who decides if there is room for Jesus.” (Neal A. Maxwell)

I told you it was good! Return tomorrow for another great Christmas quote.

Comments

  1. Very nice I’m looking forward to a quote a day!!

  2. I like this quote a lot! It makes me think of our discussion in SF… I can decide if I want Christ in my life or if I want to focus on other things. Good reminder now, especially since finals are right around the corner and time is of the essence..still need to make time and room for Christ :)

  3. Schysst blog. Gillar Maxwells citat, väldigt bra. Kanske använder det i nåt jultal :)
