25 Days of Christmas Quotes: Day 2

We’re slowly getting ready for Christmas around here. Yesterday, we visited a nearby train station to see the Holiday Train. The station was packed with people despite the rain! We also put up Christmas decorations (no tree yet, though) and our home suddenly seems much cozier. Makes me want to snuggle up under a blanket and listen to Christmas music…or start watching a BBC series, which is what we did yesterday. Yes, I managed to get my husband to join me – I’ve got skills!

All right, enough with the chit-chat. Time for quote number two!

And in case your personal electronic device doesn’t see the image, here is the quote in plain text:

“When we were children we were grateful to those who filled our stockings at Christmas time. Why are we not grateful to God for filling our stockings with legs?” (Gilbert K. Chesterton)

More about gratitude than Christmas if you think about it, but I like it! (aren’t the two intertwined, anyway?)
