Question Yourself – 2 Nephi 4:15

~2 Nephi 4:15 (The Book of Mormon)~

Context: The Prophet Nephi, one of the authors of the Book of Mormon, expresses his intentions and feelings in writing and reading scripture.

And upon these [plates] I write the things of my soul, and many of the scriptures which are engraven upon the plates of brass. For my soul delighteth in the scriptures, and my heart pondereth them, and writeth them for the learning and the profit of my children.

Question Yourself: Do I give myself enough opportunities to ponder and delight in the scriptures? How can I better appreciate and channel the passion, hopes, and wisdom of the many authors of the scriptures as I read their words? How can I maximize the learning and profit I get from studying the scriptures?
